Sand Dune Arch – 9″ x 12″ oils on canvas
A different angle on what I consider a kind of difficult arch to make interesting. In photographs the arch kind of blends into the background a lot. Someone suggested to me once that I should add a figure to this type of landscape so people who haven’t been here can see the scale, how massive these formations really are. I might start doing it, just need to practice so the figure doesn’t look like a stick figure!
