Mexican Hat Painting

Mexican Hat – 12″ x 12″ oils on canvas

I guess they did not know the word “sombrero” so they went with Mexican Hat. It’s a natural formation found, where else…near the town of Mexican Hat. From this angle it looks more like an anvil to me, but if you look at other pics it definitely resembles a sombrero. ¡Órale!

Summer doesn’t feel like it’s tapering off yet here. It’s still HOT. Hope you’re enjoying it and getting up to the mountains more than I have been.
